BORDA, Edge Protection System Barrier
Temporary collective edge protection system, CLASS A, for edge protection against falls in buildings under construction and/or rehabilitation, accesses and roof maintenance.
The BORDA system has a great versatility of fixing elements to adapt the installation to the particular needs of each case, allowing the system to be adapted to a wide variety of cases; from fixed supports for static spans to adjustable brackets that allow installation in different areas with different requirements: facades with overhangs, gutters, overhangs, metal beams, concrete structures, etc.
There is also the possibility of manufacturing the different elements to measure (as long as their characteristics are within the requirements of the standard), so that the installation possibilities are extended even further.
The system is made up of very few elements, allowing a quick assembly with the highest safety guarantees.
The assembly of the elements of the BORDA protection system is simple:
Firstly, the supports are fixed and then the skirting board and post supports are assembled, attached to the base by means of a screw.
Finally, the handrails and toeboards are mounted. In the case of nets, they will be attached to the posts by means of 15kN tie ropes.
Handrail complies with the UNE-EN 13374 CLASS A safety standard.
