One of the advantages of these nets is that they can be manufactured according to the customer's needs, both in rectangular size and in specific shapes. We can offer a wide variety of different patterns and mesh sizes, allowing customers to choose the option that best suits their needs. In addition, the nets are made to order, with no limits on the length and width dimensions required, making them ideal for projects of any size.

Uses and applications

Steel mesh is very suitable for permanent enclosures, and can be used in a variety of applications, such as horizontal protection in floor slab openings in shopping centres or office buildings, protection in vertical openings, or as edge protection railings using metal frames. They can also be used to create new structures, enclosures, room dividers and innovative designs in architecture, sports facilities, installation of vertical gardens, enclosures in zoos and covering of aviaries.

Installation

For the installation of the safety nets, either a metal tube or a 6 mm or 8 mm tensioning cable is required around the perimeter of the net. We can supply either the same thickness of wire as the netting, tensioners or additional materials that may be required for the installation.

Technical features

The complete net is made of high quality AISI 316 steel cables joined by ferrules. 

Depending on the thickness of the cable, they will be made up of more or less internal cables. 

Internal structure of the stainless steel cable: 7x7 or 7x19

• R-INOX1_ cable thickness 1 m, construction 7×7, min. breaking load 0.6 kN 
• R-INOX15_ cable thickness 1.5 mm, construction 7×7, minimum breaking load 1.5 kN 
• R-INOX2_ cable thickness 2 mm, 7×7 structure, minimum breaking load 2.5 kN
• R-INOX3_ cable thickness 3 mm, construction 7×19, minimum breaking load 5.3 kN Net termination

Depending on the subsequent installation, we offer 2 possible terminations of the net, lose loop ending or with eyelets.

Mesh sizes

The mesh size varies from 20mmx35mm up to a maximum of 200x346mm. Download the technical data sheet to view all options. Alternatively please contact us with your intended use of the netting and our sales team will be happy to advise you.
